About Us

Bright India Society

We are closely working with rural and urban communities with a holistic approach based on Sustainable Development Goals 2030.

Bright India Society (R) is a Non-Profit Organization established in 2020 in Halahalli, Koppal, Karnataka. We work for primary and compulsory free education for children, child rights, and protection. Youth are empowered through clubs, legal advocacy, and government schemes for children, youths, and citizens. BIS has been serving in Educational, Environmental, Employment, Health, Skill development, Women Empowerment, awakening on Health and Hygiene, Integrated Agriculture and Farming, and the overall development of the community.
Objectives:
To provide and awaken about government schemes in Rural and Urban areas.
To empower women by strengthening their physical and Emotional well-being and Economic Stability.
To educate and empower children and youth to lead a healthier and more dignified life.
To promote Gender Equality, Equity, and Justice.

The random survey data and report of Koppal district Matturu Gram Panchayat presented in the consultation meeting.

The Child Parliament 2023, was held at Taluka Panchayath Meeting Hall, Koppal. The program was supported by KCRO and CRT, Bangalore. Children represented all the talukas of Koppal district and NGOs. This Parliament discussed child issues in their taluka, villages and prepared for state level advocacy with the Chief Minister through "Child Parliament 2023."

Inauguration of "The District Level Child Parliament '23" by our organization was a major initiative. The event was inaugurated by Shri. Shekhargouda Ramatanal, member of KSCPCR, Bangalore, Ms. Nelofar Ramapuri, President, CWC Koppal, Mr. Tippanna Sirasangi, DD, DWCD, Koppal, Ms. Rohini Kotagar, DCPO, Koppal, Harish Jogi, UNICEF, Koppal, Dr. Sadashiv Kambale, Manager, CKSK, Gangavathi, and children representatives from all the talukas of Koppal district.

Awareness Program on Child Rights

We organized awareness campaigns on the Commissions on the Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005, the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act in Channamallikarjun Temple, Gangavati. More than 50 people participated in this session.
